I love my flist (and their flists!)
has a post of Nick Brendon and his hats (Psst, Fia, that brown flowered one look familiar?)
Then
supplied one of Nick in glasses. (OMG! The one with the grey suit! *dies*)
And to top it all off
provides SHIRTLESS NICK!! (And wet!Nick. MMM, yum!)
So in the interest of spreading the Nicky love to those who haven't seen these, I supply links. Go, enjoy, melt into a puddle of fangirly goo. If you need me, I'll be in my bunk.

Thoughts on the show, as it airs. Warning: abuse of caps and exclamation points.
Flashback HRG is kinda hot.
Claude!!!! OMG! He worked with HRG!! Claire and Matt interacting. Yay. This is so cool. Really works for our RPG. *hints to Fia* Love that Matt tells Claire about Peter and protecting her. Pieces of the puzzle.
Tiny Hiro!!!! OMG!!!!!!! *flails* The connections between the heroes just get more intersting!
Matt fighting. HOT!!! And he shot Claire!!! *flails wildly* *huggles Matt* My poor woobie!
Ewww. (Claire puking up the bullet.)”I'm not Mr. Muggles” lol!!!!! Matt and HRG working together. Awesome.
Mini!Haitian! Is HRG's boss (played by Eric Roberts) Linderman? Claude's and HRG's little scene on the bridge? So good. How in hell did he survive that?
And now her mom and Lyle know about Claire. OMG. That's just..Ted and Claire….OMG.
MATT!!!! My Woobie!!! Matt, step away from the exploding man. Claie is gonna tranq Ted. And Matt goes back. Idiot. Now HRG's boss knows about Claire. Matt shoot the bossman, please? Or the Haitian needs to step in like, NOW.
Please don't make Matt into a bad guy. Please???
Cute scene with the picking out the glasses. Claire picked out the horned rims. He's making the Haitian shoot him and erase his memories!! OMG!!!! *sniffs* I kinda like HRG now.
And next week….Linderman!
The pretty
does great work.

These are my thoughts as I'm watching the Oscars (and the pre-show).
Okay, now to the show.
I like the opening bit here, with the nominees. Very funny. I like Ellen's suit. Good color on her. Oh good, Jennife Hudson lost the wrap. Abigail Breslin looks so cute. Ellen's dancing, why am I not surprised?
Skip the musical stuff please, just get on with the show. This is why the show runs long.
How cute was Jaden Smith (Will and Jada's son)?
Sound Effects Choir? Okay that was kind of cool.
Yay for Alan Arkin's win. I don't think he expeted it.
Melissa Ethridge is looking very good.
Leo and Al Gore, and the end if that bit? ROFLMAO!!!
Please, enough with the banter, let's move it please. I'd like to be in bed before midnight.
How wrong is it that the band is playing “So long, farewell, Aufweidersen, goodbye” to get the winners offstage?
Robert Downey Jr.? Yum.
Of course it's Jennifer Hudson. How could it be anyone else?
YAY!!! For an Inconvienent Truth winning Best Documentary (long). We should all be inspired by Al Gore. We really should.
If they cut down on the sketches and montages and tributes it would give more time for the winners to speak. That's what the awards are really about anyway, right? The actors, directors, writers, etc. not production numbers.
Wow. No win for Dreamgirls in the song category. But go Melissa!
Don Knots! Joe Barbara! James Doonhan(Scotty!!!)! Peter Boyle! Jack Palance! *sniffs* They will all be missed.
Helen Mirren, no surprise. But I like her gold star comparision. And only she could get away with somewhat mocking the Queen.
Love, love, love Reese Witherspoon's dress. Love. Seriously.
Go Forrest Whitaker!!! He's really deserving of this. Really.
About damn time. That's all I have to say about Scorsese's win. About damn time. Plus George and Francis are looking good.
Bodice Ripper Awards
Yet another award, this time a Reader's Choice for Round 7 for My Buffy. I'm pleased. Lots of my flist won things, in both the Reader's Choice and in Round Eight.

I'm rewatching it on my laptop because I needed to hear Spike talking, get his voice pattern down for a scene in Fallen Heroes (though why I didn't choose s2, I'm not sure). But rewatching season six just reminds me of how much went wrong and alternately, how much I love the show.
I mean Once More with Feeling, just superb writing and singing and acting. And listening to Joss' commentary made me laugh. Also the behind the scenes stuff for tht episode just shows how much fun the actors were having. Then Tabula Rasa, oh how I love this episode. Well the memory loss stuff anyway. Look how happy and carefree Buffy is, the smile she has as 'Joan' when she says she's a superhero, reminds me so much of old school Buffy. And the comedy, oh how I love the comedy. Randy Giles, Xander's 'hey' to Willow, Giles and Anya fighting. And the kiss, oh yes, the kiss. That just made me want to go back to the Giles/Anya piece I started a while ago and never finished.
One week from today will be ten years since the airing of “Welcome to the Hellmouth”. Although I came late to the party, I'm so very glad I found this show and am glad I have all of you to share that love with.

Because everyone needs a Puppet!Hammond icon.
And SPINNING is soooo much cooller than NOT SPINNING. (It really is!!)
Yes, I am Brain. Life is good.
Got a letter from the lawyer. There is a final number for the settlement. It started with an offer of an additional 10 thousand from the company on top of the back pay I had already received. Lawyer negotiated it up to 23 thousand. It is more than we had oiginally planned on getting, so I'm very happy. Also they will be providing me with a letter, on company letterhead, stating my dates of hire and dates of all my promotions (this was a stipulation that I wanted for various reasons).
So once the state attorney general approves it (which I think and hope he will), my case will be closed.
Thank goodness.
I just want to once again thank each and every one of you for being there for me through all of this. I really couldn't have survived without you. *HUGS*
