Sunny days, sweeping the clouds away…..

Excuse my self indulgent Sesame Street moment. 

But really, it's absolutel gorgeous outside. I have laundry hanging out there and even sat out on the deck in one of the new lawn chairs Brad bought not so long ago.

I did some writing, got the next section of my spring_with_xan story written (yay me). Even did some minor plotting on my Jack/Daniel Unending fix it story (double yay). Then I had to come inside. Why? Because it's hot! That and sun plus Katy without sunscreen equals not good.
 
How is everyone else doing?

SGA love

So Brad bought me season 2 yesterday. How much do I love Rodney? Seriously. Plus the best boy!kissing scene ever with Duet. John continues to grow on me. And I also found myself liking Major Lorne. Why doesn't he have a first name yet? I mean come on writers, he leads missions, he gets into dangerous situations, and hell, we even know he likes to paint! Isn't it about time he got a first name? (Unless he's gotten one in the last three episodes of season 3 which I haven't seen yet, in which case, ignore what I just said.)

Can anyone rec me some good SGA fic? Specifically Rodney and Carson-centric. Thanks.

I think I'm getting sick, again, which sucks. But I'm drinking lots of water and will have an early night in the hopes that lots of sleep with help.

Today will be interesting. Brad has downloaded me the last half of SGAtlantis season three, so there will be watching of that. I'm steeling myself for bad things. 

Started one of my stories for 

spring_with_xan

, and let me tell you Xander is not happy. One page in and lready it's angtirific. I've had the idea for this story for a while, and I'm not sure it will have a very happy ending. Hopeful, possibly, happy, not so much. I'll write something happy as well to counterbalance the angst, I just need an idea for happy.

In other news,

 and I are planning to go to Dragon*Con this year. But we both need help. We need money, plain and simple. It's not a lot, but every little bit helps. In order to do that we've got several things in the works. One of them is our Embracing Infanity shop at Cafe Press. We have several things to offer. Stargate stuff for Jack/Daniel fans, a few Buffy and Angel items, and one interesting comparison between our favorite Slayer and our favorite archeologist/linguist/anthropologist. If you want to suggest something for us to offer, feel free. As long as it doesn't violate any copyright laws, we'll be happy to provide it for you!

Why research is important

I was looking at the transcripts for “Bewitched, Bewildered and Bothered” yesterday and something bugged me. When Amy performs the spell she calls upon the goddess Diana, calling her the goddess of love. That's wrong.

Diana/Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, the moon, childbirth and fertility. Aphrodite/Venus is the goddess of love. Someone didn't do their research. No where that I've looked is Diana the goddess of love.

Anyone know where there might be a transcript of 'Unending'? SG1 solutions doesn't have one up yet.

(Yes, I have given in to Jack's voice and started writing the story. *sigh* I'm weak.)
