Stargate SG-1 help
A general call to all my SG-1 flisties.
I caught my muse in a good mood and well, I finished my 'Unending' fix-it fic. Which is where all of you come in. My regular beta goddess is not a SG-1 fan (though I'm trying to convert her!), so I will need a beta. I will most likely be typing it up tomorrow evening, so you won't get it until then at least. No hurry on turn around either. I'm looking for help with characterization, voices and just general beta things. So if you want to help a girl out, comment here.
Remember it's an 'Unending' fix-it, so having seen the episode is a plus.

Since today is the last day of April, which is National Poetry Month, another poem.
This is “Funeral Blues” by W.H. Auden, which you may know from the movie “Four Weddings and a Funeral”.

If Jordin had been voted off I would have died.
I should have suspected something when Ryan said yesterday that there was going to be something with the results. I mean how could he have known that before voting started unless they knew they weren't sending anyone away?
Plus did everyone catch SMG in the 'Staying Alive' montage?

Vengeance: Okay, gun toting McKay plus Micheal plus references to Butch and Sundance and Autin powers equals very happy fangirl.
First Strike: So we get introduced to Jewel's character, Doctor Keller. I didn't want to like her. But she's all nervous and not wanting Carson's job so how can I not like her? Plus it's Kaylee, only not, and who can't like Kaylee??
How much pressure can the writer's pile on? I mean in 'Vengeance' we get Micheal's bug army and now we're back to the human form Replicators. And now Atlantis is a yo-yo, going up and down on a whim just because the original Ancients/Atlanteans (whatever you want to call them) activated some systems. But I love that John gets to fly the city.
The end there opens the door for Carter to come to the rescue and for Elizabeth's exit. But it leaves me flailing for the fourth season to start.
Heroes .07%

It was worth the six week wait.
Matt is also dense. Who doesn't know what an EMP is? But yay for them all working together to escape. But then HRG mentions the tracking center and of course it's in New York. All the better to get our heroes together.
All the Petrelli stuff was interesting. I think the writers are playing to the fans who ship Nathan/Peter. And nice circular writing with Claire saving Peter. Though I was skeptical about the tender father/daughter moment between Claire and Nathan. And what's the story behind Mrs. Petrelli? I hope we find out about her.
And Hiro meets Future Hiro! So awesome.
So overall, can't wait for next week.

Everyone did well, surprisingly. But Jordin….oh Jordin. Goosebumps, she gave me goosebumps at the end of that. She's gonna be a spolier.
Bottom two: Lakisha and Blake.
Job stuff
I have another interview tomorrow, at Godiva Chocolates (the tempatations!). I'm really hoping that they're looking for full time. I need the hours in order to be able to move into our own place.
But, if they aren't, well…I got a call from K-mart this morning and if Godiva doesn't work out, I'll be starting there as of next Tuesday. It's only part time, but somethings better than nothing and I'll still be looking. They can't fault me for wanting something better. (The HR person seemed to understand that in the interview, so if something better does come up, I won't feel the least bit of guilt for leaving.)
I'm a little nervous either way because it means going back to work and shaking up the routine I've had for over a year now. But I'm sure I'll do fine once things get started and I get into a new routine.
So i think I'll be spending as much time as I can this week trying to write, because who knows when I'll fit it in now. But I will try to fit it in. I lkie writing. It's my lifeline to sanity.
So anyway, possible job, which makes for a happy me.
