Question for the all knowing flist

Do we have a canonical last name for Angel when he was human?  I don't remember there being a last name on his tombstone in “Prodigal” but I may have to break out the DVDs to recheck.

Is there a secondary source (comic, novel, video game) that give him one? Because that's how we got surnames for Faith and Spike.

If there isn't one, that's fine, I just don't want to make one up if there is a canonical name.

I have my laptop back!!!!!

The new power cable arrived yesterday, but did not immediately work for some reason.

Well this morning, I tried something. There is a crack in the port that the cable goes into, so if the cable isn't sitting in said port just right, no power is reaching the battery (the computer isn't recognizing the cable is there). So for now, I've rigged it so the cable is sitting right and I have power to the laptop. Hopefully this is something that can get fixed but for now, yay laptop!!!

I've imported my bookmarks to my Google account so I'll never be without them again and backed up a few more things to the net drive, so I don't lose any more info.

But over all, YAY LAPTOP!!!!!

Today

After much debate, despite what the poll said, I've decided not to upload the bad!fic to my website. It has been consigned to the ether by my delete button.

But I did save the beginnings of a post Chosen Spike fic that I think I can work with. It was going to be shippy, and it still might be, just not that ship, or it may be gen, I guess I'll see where the muse takes it.

The computer gods are not with me or Brad, but I think in the end everything will be okay.

Tomorrow, there may be meta (of the non-fannish variety) posted. Also I need to hunker down and work on the last Sweet Charity fic. And work on some other fic.

So, when I was backing up my stuff to another drive when I found something I'd thought was gone forever. My very first fic. EVER.

I've talked about it many times and said it would never, never, ever see the light of day. EVER. So I read it. ZOMG. So full of cliches, bad formatting and worse characterization. Plus, a pairing I pretty much run screaming from now. *hangs head in shame*

But I got to wondering, because I know how some on my flist enjoy the bad!fic, so I've been contemplating uploading it to my site. Hence, a poll!

Celebrity Dinner

The other day Brad brought up the perennial “What celebrities would you have at a dinner party?” question.

Now normally my mind would instantly go to stars of shows, this time it didn't.

The first three names out of my mouth were Whedon, Kripke (Eric, creator of Supernatural), and Kring (Tim, creator of Heroes).

Then I added

, my braintwin, of course. (Shut up, I'm alllowed to have a fellow fangirl there.)

Then after some thought I added Sorkin (Aaron of West Wing fame) and Milch (David, creator of Deadwood).
