Damn You Cooper and Wright

I was soooooooo bound and determined not to watch SGU.

Then you cast Robert Carlyle and I’m intrigued, decide to maybe give the pilot a chance.

The one of my favorite  sci-fi writers, John Scalzi is hired on as a creative consultant. Giving me some hope that you might finally  write kick-ass female characters.

And now…now you’ve hired on Lou Diamond Phillips. Damn you!!!!

Well, I went to get my birth control today.

I went with something called Implanon. It’s kinda like Norplant only there’s only one stick/rod/whatever andit only last three years. Now I went into this expecting it to hurt some when it got put in, but OMFG it hurts like a mo-fo. My left bicep both stings and aches. I’m sure it will go away eventually but right now it hurts. I’d say  I want chocolate, but Brad and I also started our diet today. Phooey.

OMG FINALLY caught up with all the episodes. I was spoiled for a few things but not the really good stuff. I want to thank everyone whose journals I read for using spoiler cuts. I am just…blown away by how damned good this show is. Why couldn’t we have had writer’s like this for SGA?
