And Now We Wait…..
Well boys and girls, as of today I am 30 weeks pregnant. That means 10 weeks to go, give or take.
It seems like just yesterday I was staring at the positive sign on the home pregnancy test. I’ve had ups and downs and now it’s time to just sit and wait. I remember the last part of my pregnancy with Liam dragging on forever, I suspect this time will be no different.
Baby is doing fine. Lots of moving and kicking and such. Sleep has become a precious commodity. Naps are made of win. I am putting on a little more weight, I was up three pounds at the doctors visit on Thurs. No gestational diabetes so that’s a big plus. Working on a birth plan. Midwife asked if I wanted an epidural and I was all “Yis! I can haz drugs plz!”
Now I just wonder if the belly will get any bigger. You can tell I am pregnant, but it’s not like I’m huge. I wasn’t with Liam. The two things I am grateful for though are that my breasts haven’t gotten bigger (I needed that like I needed a hole in the head) and my hands haven’t swollen up (yet).
Let’s hope the next 10 weeks don’t drag too much.
