Help Me
What I should been doing this morning while Sarah was napping:
Working on my Buffy Big Bang or at least watching the relevant episodes to get the characters voice back in my head like I’ve been meaning to do for the last two days.
What I actually did:
Started writing a Joey/Rachel Future fic. At least I know Fia will read it. *sigh* Damned plot-bunnies.

So, last night/early this morning, Fia linked me to The Random Romance Novel Generator. We had a blast giggling at all the titles it spat out at us. Some of them made no sense whatsover. I mean how am I supposed to believe The Viking NASCAR Driver and the Blushing Virgin? Or The Indian Tycoon and the Bashful Feminist?
But one of the first ones that she came up with really struck me. “The Scottish Duke’s Unwilling Duchess”. It just screamed Carson/Teyla Harlequin AU. *sigh* I have this feeling I will be writing this sometime in the near future. I really need to stop getting plot bunnies for new things so I can finish at least ONE of my WIPs.
Also, I’d forgotten how much fun it was to RP with Fia.

I am currently working on something that has past (and probably future) Carson/Teyla, will have Teyla/Lorne and knowing me will end up as Carson/Teyla/Lorne. It’s going to be so much fun.
(For all those who are here for the Buffy fic, I haven’t abandoned it. The muse just wants to play in the Stargate sandbox for a while. I figure it’s best to keep her happy.)

So, I signed up to do a day a Fall for Cordy. It’s not due until the end of Sept. I was thinking it might be another installment of the Wes/Cordy road trip saga. A little bit of action ala training, a little bit of intrigue in the case they’re following, and then Cordy seducing a very unsuspecting Wes. Because it’s about time she got to do more than chase nasty things and ride on the back of a motorcycle and kiss her boyfriend. Cordy wants it all. And she’s gonna get it.

40,025 words, 80 pages (in MS Word) and it is done! My sgabigbang story is finished!
Actually it was done roughly around 12:30 last night but I was too damn tired to post about it. I have now sent it all off to Fia for a beta by her and I need a second beta now. I have about a month in which to fiddle with it before it is due so that makes me incredibly happy.
If I ever say I’m going to do something like this anytime soon, someone slap me. Or if I contemplate doing it again ever. Cause I’m thinking the next time big bang rolls around I will have forgotten how flaily and unconfident this made me feel.
Any way, it is done, I am not going to look at it for a day or so and now I can work on other things, like maybe another story for summer of giles.

fic! I’m so happy. Lots of angst followed by total and utter sap and fluff. Now, let’s hope what I have planned will fill another 20,000 words or more. God I hope so. Someone smack me if I sign up for something like this again.

who assures me it rocks. Would anyone here who is a SGA fan care to take a quick look at what I have so far and offer commentary. It’s Carson/Teyla, roughly 12,000 words and mostly PG-13ish (with the sex scene at the very end which will make the story NC-17 overall). Having another opinion would make me feel tons better. TIA

assures me that my porn-fu has returned. I'm very happy about it. The next few scenes should be very interesting. And I have much of the rest of the fic mapped out in my head. It's going to be angstarific. But it will have a happy ending. I can't wait for July so I can share the story with everyone.
