Tx_cronopio linked to this article about mathemeticians at UCLA discovering a new prime number with 13 million digits. One of the first things I thought was, hey, that’s going to make John and Rodney’s games of Prime/Not Prime a heck of a lot more intersting.

Surprise FORD!!!!! (John has never forgiven himself for leaving Ford behind, good foreshadowing for what’s to come.)
Rodney worried for John. John almost giving into his feelings. Ronon ignoring John. Poor Lorne having to deal with Rodney.
Duff beer! Simpsons reference FTW.
I do like that Carter and Caldwell are calling each other Sam and Stephen. I could buy them as a couple because a) it means no Sam/Jack and b) it makes Rodney uncomfortable.
I wanna know what Jennifer gave John so he’s not all wobbly on his legs.
Rodney delivering Teyla’s baby? OMG LOVE!!!!! There was nothing about that scene I didn’t love. (Though I must gripe a tad about them not dealing with the afterbirth, yes it’s gross, but it’s a part of it too.)
Okay, what was with not!zombie Kanann? Last time we saw him, he barely functioned, now he’s walking and talking and interacting with Teyla. Consistency writers, have some plz.
John plus baby equals Katy puddle of goo! (seriously my uterus did flips. Which is hard with a baby in there and such.)

That was a total Kaylee moment when Jennifer told John she was gonna mess with his insides.
Speaking of consistency, I thought Teyla’s father was Tegan? Doesn’t she introduce herself to Sumner and John in “Rising” as Teyla Emmagen, daugher of Tegan? If not, then I need to change some things in my bigbang story.
Poor Sam. I mean, I know Amanda decided to leave, so they kinda had to take command away from Sam, but still, it was a sad moment for her when Woolsey told her.

My LJ Header because aren’t they cute together? It makes me contemplate writing fic. I’m done with my bigbang story and I kind of miss playing with Carson and Teyla.
Contemplating more X-Files fic, especially X-Files/Buffy crossovers. A part of me wants to write a Giles/Scully fic that takes place post series for X-Files and maybe while Giles is in England. What if Scully was that friend he made that he mentioned to Buffy?
Watching the X-Files because I do so love Mulder and Scully. And it’s leading to all sorts of nifty fic ideas.
John and Rodney because Fia and I finished our mcshep_match fic last night (nothing like a deadline to motivate you!). They are such….boys and we love them so.
This Tony Stark/Pepper Potts fic. Now I loved that the movie didn’t go there and I kind of hope that any sequels will not fall into the trap of putting them together but ZOMG! This fic is smoking hot and totally, totally believable. (Post movie, so obviously spoilers for the movie.)
This fic and the accompanying podfic. I already have a place reserved in that special hell for writing puppetslash, so why not keep it for reading RPF with David Cook. Hot, hot, and he saves the world! What more could you want!

So, we’re down to the David’s. If you’ve been reading my posts you know which one I favor. So, let’s get to the singing!
First songs chosen by Clive Davis.
Cook: “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, Damn, he’s got it and if he’s not snatched up for a record deal there is something wrong in this world.
Archuleta: “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me”, sitting on the stairs, lame. But I must say that he does give this song his all and is fairly respectable with it.
Songwriting songs.
Cook: “Dream Big” WOW. Love, love, love, love it. Simon obviously doesn’t which makes me wonder why he came out and supported Cook earlier.
Archuleta: “In This Moment”, of course it’s a ballad. Why do all these songs have inspirational icky lyrics? Why are the judges all for him? Is this more manipulation and set up on their part?
Contestant’s Choice
Cook: “The World I Know”, David and an accoustic guitar, very very nice. I half wish he’d stuck with that, but the rocking out parts were good too. I love his defense for choosing this song. He’s right, it’s about progression, not regression.
Archuleta: “Imagine”, it was dreadful the first time he did this way back at the beginning and it’s even more so now. THERE ARE NO SWEEPING CRESCENDO’S IN “IMAGINE”. That was not John Lennon’s “Imagine”.
I have never voted before, but I am sooooooo going to vote today. I will not let the producers get away with trying to manipulate this. I will NOT let Archeluta be the American Idol if I can help it.
